The Terms of Friendship (友達の条件, Tomodachi no Jōken?) is the second episode of the Wonder Egg Priority anime series.
Synopsis[]
Guided by the voices of Acca and Ura-Acca, Ai visits an underground garden where she meets Neiru Aonuma, a girl who buys “eggs” in bulk.
Ai is curious to meet someone in the same situation as her, but Neiru avoids getting involved with her.
Ai is alone again in the world of eggs. A girl named Minami Suzuhara appears in the next egg, wearing a leotard.
Acca and Ura-Acca tell Ai to "defeat the Wonder Killer" as they challenge her to a battle.
Plot[]
Ai Ohto and Neiru Aonuma walk together on a sunny day. Ai attempts to make conversation with Neiru, but it proves to be one sided as she acts coldly towards her. After sometime Neiru asks Ai who she is fighting for, and she replies that she is fighting for her friend, Koito. Neiru is skeptical, and asks if she is sure she's not fighting for herself. Neiru then tells Ai that she's not like her, and that she loves herself and wants to protect her sister.
Ai plays around with the Egg.
Ai returns home and is welcomed by her mother and her teacher Shuichiro Sawaki. The two of them try to ask Ai about her injuries, but she refuses to say anything. In her bedroom Ai looks over Neiru's contact info that she gave her earlier. Neiru tells Ai that she would buy eggs on odd days and Ai should buy eggs on even days so that they wouldn't have to meet again. Now in the Egg World, Ai plays around and deduces that as long as she doesn't breaks the egg, no one would attack. The Egg then falls off the table and begins to crack.
Ai talks to Minami.
A girl with short hairs comes out of it, after seeing her Ai quickly grabs her hand and tells her to run. They are quickly surrounded by Seeno Evils, so Ai tries to fight them off, getting a cut on her arm in the process. The two are able to escape to the roof and close the door just in time. Ai asks the girl for her name and she replies that it is Minami Suzuhara. Ai compliments her figure, but Minami says she was pressured to maintain it. Their conversation continues until Acca tells them they have to beat the Wonder Killer to survive, and that running away was not going to solve anything. As Ai is distracted, the roof door is destroyed and a Wonder Killer named Komon Kyoshi transforms into a big monster and captures Minami and knocks Ai out.
"Sorry, but that's just abuse! Now I'm really mad!"
Ai remembers a rain day where she and Koito Nagase talked about why she was getting bullied, and Ai blamed herself for it. Back in the present Ai regains her consciences and tries to find Minami. She finds her in the gym being tortured by Komon Kyoshi. Ai attempts to attack the Wonder Killer, but she is knocked across the room, Minami then yells at her gymnastics coach to stop, but her coach pushes her away. Ai stands up and grabs Minami's ribbon, and it transforms into a weapon that she uses to fight. Komon Kyoshi uses a purple fluid to blind Ai, but she is able to fight and dodge attacks Komon Kyoshi's attacks thanks to Minami telling her where to move. After landing on the gyms upper balcony, Ai wraps the ribbon around Komon Kyoshi's arm and is able to get close and defeat Komon Kyoshi. Minami thanks Ai for saving her life and she tells Ai she'd wished she'd met her sooner. After that Minami disappears.
Ai talks to Neiru through her phone.
While waiting in the hospital with her mother, Ai sees Neiru Aonuma being taken in on a stretcher. When Ai goes to purchase another egg, Acca tells Ai that she is prudent, unlike Neiru. He says that there's no point going to save someone if you get yourself killed, Ai takes exception to the statement and retorts that they don't know anything about her. Ura Acca then suggests that maybe Neiru wants to die. Ai goes to hospital to see Neiru and show her new eggs and communicates with her by typing on her cellphone. She suggests that Neiru got greedy, and says that they should become friends after she leaves the hospital. They meet each other on the roof after Neiru recovers, where they talk and drink juice together.
